Residence - Historic District, Mandeville, LA

Another challenging project in the Historic District in Mandeville.  Located on Foy St. close to Lamarque, this particular site was considered almost "unbuildable" due to the canopy of numerous live oak trees consuming almost 30% of the site along the street.  The solution involved maintaining a single story structure to maintain the streetscape by obtaining several setback and live oak protection variances by incorporating pervious paving for the drive.
