Residence - Marina District, Mandeville, LA

Another project located on the East side of town near Bayou Castine, my clients sought a low scale solution that wrapped the large corner and fit into the surrounding neighborhood of single story slab on grade homes.  We chose a low pitched roof with deep overhangs which lends itself well to this environment and offered opportunities to emphasize those deep overhangs with support brackets.  The result is a home that fits the scale of the neighborhood while offering a modern take on more traditional design elements.
